We are therefore looking for professionals to join our ever expanding Transportation team here in our Cleveland, Ohio office. We are currently looking for a Structural Engineer with experience in the transportation industry. The successful candidate is required to have a good understanding of structural engineering principles and practices and general knowledge of ODOT design requirements. The candidate will be responsible for structural design tasks on a variety of projects. This work will include preliminary engineering, final engineering, plan production, construction staging, quantity calculations, estimates, and other related engineering duties. It will also include design oversight and direction of the junior design and CAD staff assigned to the task. The successful candidate should possess a thorough knowledge of engineering software such as MDX, LEAP Bridge (ConSpan & RCPier), LARSA, and MathCad. A working knowledge of Microstation or AutoCAD is also required.
In addition, the successful candidate should enjoy working in a team environment as well as independently. Field work may also be required.

Requirements: |
The selected candidate is expected to have a minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible structural engineering experience regarding the development and preparation of preliminary and final bridge engineering plans and contract documents.
This engineering position requires a B.S.C.E., M.S.C.E. preferred, from an accredited University or College. PE registration in the State of Ohio is required. The selected candidate should be able to work in the United States immediately.
